Fundraising Tips

  • Set goals: Create a group goal as well as individual goals. Share these goals with your participants and let them know what will be done with the money raised.

  • Create excitement: Increase participation by having a meeting with participants and make sure everyone knows the importance of the fundraiser and what they can do to help.

  • Set specific fundraiser dates: We recommend running your fundraiser for 10 to 14 days. Please make sure to include two weekends.

  • Be organized: Make sure everyone is aware of the fundraiser dates and when orders are due.

  • Promote the fundraiser: Distribute posters and banners and include the fundraiser in public announcements.

  • Communicate: Make contact with your participants every couple of days during the fundraiser. Encourage them often!

  • Be safe: Encourage your group to sell to parents, relatives and friends, and recruit them to help sell as well. But remember - Never sell to strangers!

  • Offer incentives: Explain the benefit of selling a certain number of items.

  • Have Fun!

Fundraising FAQs

Q: How soon can I start my fundraiser?
A: As soon as you select your fundraiser dates, we'll mail your fundraising packages so you can get started!

Q: Do you provide the fundraiser forms?
A: Yes, we provide pre-printed sales brochures, collection envelopes and informational flyers collated for each participant in individual poly bags, free of charge, for your convenience. We also provide posters to advertise your fundraiser.

Q: What is the turnaround time from the end of the sale to the delivery?
A: We prefer to allow a week and a half to two weeks after the end of the sale. This allows enough time for late orders to be included in the delivery.

Q: Could you explain the delivery process?
A: Our delivery process is an important step in making your fundraiser a success. Our Quik-Sort Specialist(s) will arrive at the delivery location at the specified date and time. During the delivery process, all cookie dough orders will be sorted and labeled for each individual seller. We will also arrange all orders by grade level and classroom or as instructed by the fundraising coordinator. When the pick-up time comes, everything will be ready for each of your participants. Please call or e-mail to find out if you are in our Quik-Sort delivery area.

Q: I'm not with a fundraising organization. Can I still purchase your products?
A: We only sell our products through fundraising organizations. However, we can direct you to the local distributor in your area and they will let you know if there is a fundraiser near you.

Q: What is the shelf life of the cookie dough tubs?
A: The cookie dough tubs keep 1 year in the freezer or 3 months in the refrigerator.

Q: What is the shelf life of the pre-portioned cookie dough?
A: The pre-portioned cookie dough must be kept frozen and is good for 6 months.

Q: What is the shelf life of the brownies?
A: Brownie dough tubs keep 6 months in the freezer or 3 months in the refrigerator.

Q: How long can the dough remain unrefrigerated during the delivery?
A: The dough will arrive frozen and may remain unrefrigerated for up to 6-8 hours during distribution.

Q:Can the cookie dough be eaten raw?
A: Our cookie dough products are made with pasteurized eggs; that is, eggs that have been heated sufficiently to kill bacteria and also may contain an acidifying agent that kills the bacteria. Commercial preparations of cookie dough are not a food hazard.

Q: Do your products contain trans fats?
A: All of our products contain 0 grams of trans fats.

Q: Do you have to bake the whole tub at once?
A: No, you may scoop out only the desired amount and place the remaining dough back into the freezer or refrigerator.

Q:Can the cookie dough be refrozen after it has been thawed?
A: Yes. However, after being thawed and refrozen several times, the cookie dough may degrade in quality.

Q: Do your products contain nuts or nut products?
A: Four of our flavors, Peanut Butter with Reese's® Peanut Butter Chips, Made with Heath® Bar, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut and Pecan Coconut Delight, all contain either peanuts or nuts. All of our flavors are produced in a facility that manufactures peanut/nut products.

Q: Can the cookie dough be left out of refrigeration if it has never been opened?
A: The cookie dough is perishable and must be kept frozen or refrigerated. The frozen cookie dough may be left out for up to 6-8 hours during distribution, but should be placed back into refrigeration after that point.

Q: Can the Southern Sugar Cookie dough be rolled out and cut with cookie cutters?
A: Absolutely! Just sprinkle a little flour or place down parchment paper and roll out the dough. Coat your cookie cutters with flour or nonstick spray and cut the dough. Bake according to tub instructions.

Q: Should I refrigerate the coffee to keep it fresh?
A: We recommend that you store the coffee at room temperature to maximize its flavor and freshness.


Handcrafted Candle Questions

Q: How long can I expect the candles to last?
A: If you follow the burning instructions on the bottom of your candle, the 8-ounce candle should burn 50-60 hours. The 16-ounce candle should burn 80-90 hours.

Q: What kind of wax do you use in your candles?
A: In order to maximize the life and scent of the candles, we use the highest quality paraffin mottling waxes.
